About us
About us
A contract sewing facility in Nagyhegyes, eastern Hungary, working for more than thirty years. We make garments for other people, to be sold under their name.
STA GROUP is the sewing arm of STA-SZERVÍZ Kft. We work on a contract basis: the client brings the design or the pattern, and we produce the garment so that it fits their label. The workshop has been running in the same place for over thirty years.
Our backbone is tailored outerwear: jackets, blazers, dresses, technical and quilted pieces. We also make trousers, skirts, workwear and uniforms. These are the garments where the cut and the inside work matter most — the lining, the piping, the buttonhole, the pocket corner.
There are more than twenty-five of us, and we are not a mass-production plant. We work in short and medium runs where one machinist follows a garment through. That is slower, but at this scale it is what keeps the quality even.
Thirty years is a lot of cloth, from fine linen to heavy wool. That is the kind of knowledge no machine replaces: how a fabric behaves under the needle, where it needs interfacing and what an edge will take.

How we work
01
No production without a sample
We make a single garment for every order. Production does not start until you have approved it. That way a problem shows up on the first piece.
02
The inside counts too
Linings, edges and seam ends get the same care as anything visible from outside. On a jacket that is the difference between good and expensive.
03
We keep what we agree
We do not promise an unrealistic date just to win the job. Once we confirm a deadline you can plan around it.
In short
We always assess capacity against the actual garment, because a lined jacket and a simple dress are worlds apart in machine time.
